My Story

I am a physician who retired from full time clinical practice and organizational leadership duties in 2022 after a 30-year career. I am a specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Over the years I worked with thousands of patients with multiple medical conditions and injuries. I was  team leader for the rehabilitation team composed of nurses, physical, occupational and speech therapists, case managers and dietitians. I became very interested in leadership during my career and was a Medical Director for over 20 years. I learned a great deal about managing up and down in an organization. I learned about team dynamics and how to get the most out of your team for the benefit of the patients. I learned about staff retention as well as personal and program development.

When I decided to transition away from my medical career, I had the strong desire to continue working with people and making an impact in a different way. During the latter part of my career, I had a coach and found that the coaching experience was very valuable. As I transitioned out of full-time medicine, I thought, “I can do that. Coaching may be my way to stay connected with people and help them.”

I enrolled in the Leadership and Performance coaching program at Brown University and immediately knew that I had made the right choice. I learned the craft of coaching and realized that it is an excellent complement to the skills that I honed in my medical career. I bring all of this experience and training to my coaching and consulting and am deeply invested in helping my clients achieve their goals.

I am married and have 4 grown children and live in the Hudson Valley of New York.
